A blend derived from the maceration of "Golden Japan" plums.
Tasting Notes
Crafted from the maceration of prematurely harvested “Golden Japan” plums from Moissac and immersed in a distilled liquor from WAKAZE's sake lees, WAKAZE's Umeshu is distinctively fresh with noticeable acidity and a delicate fruity profile. This liquor, less sweet than its Japanese counterparts, provides a balanced and refreshing taste experience, designed to appeal to both purists of Japanese spirits and those new to this world!
Appearance: Bright with a golden hue.
Nose: Pronounced, with fresh ume (Japanese for plums) aromas complemented by fruity nuances from the distillate.
Palate: Creamy texture reminiscent of the rice used in its crafting, with a touch of acidity, followed by a gentle sweetness. Light and refreshing finish.
※A slight deposit linked to natural ingredients may appear, this does not alter the quality of the product.
Food Pairing - Umeshu
Ideal to start or conclude a meal, this Umeshu pairs well with savory appetizers or light desserts. Highlight its freshness by mixing it with sparkling water to craft a typical Japanese Umeshu Sōda.
Serving Temperature: Cool, between 8°C and 10°C.
Alcohol Content: 13°C.
