OMOTENASHI

Omotenashi(English: oh-moh-te-nah-she, Japanese: おもてなし) is a difficult word to translate fully into English, but pertains to hospitality: it conveys the idea of selfless and detail-oriented care to customers. Its origins date back to 16th century Japan and the art of tea ceremony, where guests are always treated with the utmost attention regardless of social status or wealth. These values are at the core of Japanese culture, and we strive daily to put them into practice here at Wakaze.
